Hope you made it to the Cotton Bowl. Crazy weather day for y'all.

I enjoy THE SHINING and MISERY. Can't go wrong with GROUNDHOG DAY. And that version of NARNIA is wonderful.

Thanks! We made it to the Cotton Bowl safely! The roads weren't bad, so we got lucky.

Oh my goodness, same on the Kidman Netflix movie. I got through it but it wasn’t pleasant

Just rewatched While You Were Sleeping while sick in bed. It was a great antidote to the other one!

I'm in the Dallas metroplex with you. The swirling snow is pretty from my windows! Be careful going to the Cotton Bowl game. I just don't watch scary movies intentionally. I live alone so prefer to feel safe. Reading romance and downsizing, so going through old photos and discarding. I've turned to hot tea also, so thanks for the recipe to try!

Great list, Roni! _The Shining_ movie is one of only adaptations of a book I love that I totally support! As terrifying as the book in a different way.

Thanks! And yes, it was a great adaptation (even though notoriously hated it lol.) I think the movie and book can each been seen as their own separate pieces of art.

Yeah that always surprised me, that King disliked Kubrick’s version to strongly. But yes, totally agree: separate pieces of art.
