If definitely resonated for me the second time. The first time I wasn’t in the right place for it.

That's so reassuring. Thanks.

Thanks for the great lists!! Happy you found Carly Fortune- she’s Canadian and the rural setting is close to where I moved just over a year ago. ❤️❤️ Also liked her Meet Me at the Lake.

No Two Persons by Erica Bauermeister was a five star for me. Read it on my kindle, listened to the audio and purchased a print copy for my shelf. Nora Goes Off Script another one I loved- older heroine-though not as old as me!

Ooh, I had No Two Persons from the library and I let it go before I could read it. Sounds like I need to get it back!

Oh, I love these lists (my wallet doesn't though)

I tried with Outlive (was a recent Bookbub) because I actually am really interested in health plus he was on Huberman's podcast but I think it's going to be a DNF for me. It surprised me because I honestly thought I'd love it but it's a little too dry for me.

Favorite reads:

* Fourth Wing / Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros (really lives up to the hype, I couldn't put it down)

* Circe by Madeline Miller (I loved Song of Achilles, so why I waited so long to read this book, is beyond me)

* The Mythic Journey by Liz Burke & Juliet Shaman

* The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab

I did Outlive on audio from the library and it was long (17 hours i think) but I think it was the only way I could take it in because it felt like a podcast. I'm not sure I would've made it through the print. It's a lot, lol. And The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue was a top fave from a previous year. Love that one!
