I’m obsessed with The X-Files, so naturally you’d think I’d also love Supernatural. Alas, I still haven’t made it past the first four or five episodes.🤷‍♀️

Yeah, it took me at least 6 episodes. I almost had to have them on in the background while I was doing other things and then slowly I started to get more and more interested.

That's a good strategy! Maybe I'll give it a try.

I didn’t watch Supernatural, either, for some reason. There are certainly enough seasons to make it worth really getting into.

I just listened to Home is Where the Bodies Are and enjoyed that on audio. It definitely lived up to the title!

I've been meaning to try Supernatural, too. I never watched it when it first came out.

I also have NO clue on what kind of trees, leaves, or flowers are in a scene, either. Nor do I want to research that. But I do enjoy reading a writer who's good with scenic descriptions.

Yes, I have setting description envy for those who can really give a deep sense of place. And if you like horror and try Supernatural, give it a few episodes. I think it took me about 6 episodes before I was like, oh I actually really like these two characters.

I tried really, really hard to watch supernatural, but I’m not a fan of horror. I watched the first episode, maybe the first two, and it was just too scary for me. I know I’d love the characters and banter, though.

Me too! I didn't make it past the first episode :( I love a good campus mystery though and my old favorite that I have read over and over is The Secret History by Donna Tartt.

Yeah, I'm a horror lover so it works for me. I wouldn't recommend it for those who are more sensitive to the scary stuff.
