Stay a Spell series by Juliette Cross. It has witches, werewolves, vampires, and more. There are four books in the series so far with two more to come. They’re hilarious, sweet, sexy, and action packed.

Thank you! I'm definitely adding this one to my list. Juliette's table was across from mine at the Book Bonanza signing and I chatted with her. She was very nice and her books look great.

Have you read the Discovery of Witches Trilogy (actually now 4 books) by Deborah Harkness? So good, I have read them all multiple times. Witches and Vampires!

I haven't, but I'm almost positive I have at least the first one on my Kindle. Thanks!

The Riley Jensen series by Keri Arthur is awesome, Full Moon Rising is the first book. I always enjoyed Kelly Armstrong's Bitten series too, which has a witch offshoot. As far as vamps go, you can't beat the Anita Blake series by Laurell K Hamilton...until it goes off the rails at about book 10-11...but up until that it's everything you've ever wanted in a vampire series.

Thanks! And I read the first Anita Blake book all the way back in 2009 according to my Goodreads, so I may need to revisit that series!

I love book 4 of The Innkeeper Chronicles, Sweep of the Blade, by Ilona Andrews. but it is all fantasy. Very romantic though. Also, all the Patricia Briggs werewolf books.

I will third Kresley Cole's Immortals After Dark series. Strong heroines, fun storylines with an overall series arc if you read all of them. And there's some New Orleans and the bayous thrown in too.

I really need to read these books. I've read book one (a good while ago) and I really need to go back to the series.

I recommend Evernight by Kristen Callihan. Though he's technically a demon and not a vampire, Will Thorne is one of my all-time favorite heroes. The banter is fierce in this one. The book is part of Callihan's Darkest London series, and all of the books in the series are great. They're set in the late 1800s and have a steampunk tinge to them. Very gothic, fall-like vibes.

And I second Kresley Cole's Immortals After Dark series - in particular A Hunger Like No Other (vampire and wolf) and Wicked Deeds on a Winter's Night (witch and wolf). The heroines are strong and sharp-witted, and these books are really fun.

Thank you! I've read two of the Kristen Callihan series but it's been a while and I need to go back to it. And I'll add another vote for Kresley! :)

My friend and fellow Ohio romance author, Stacy McKitrick, writes vampire and ghost romances. Here's a link to her books: https://www.amazon.com/Stacy-McKitrick/e/B00BRL7HQG

Gail Carriger: Parasol Protectorate: Soulless is the 1st book

Thea Harrison: The Elder Races. Start with Dragon Bound

Nalini Singh: Psy Changeling series: Slave to Sensation is the 1st book

Shelley Laurenston : Magnus Pack: 1st book Pack Challenge. Pride stories: start with The Main Event

There's some great suggestions in this thread...*Jots down to wishlist*.

If it hasn't been recommended already, I liked "Shiver" by Maggie Stiefvater. Moody teen wolf shifter romance.

Also, I've written a few stories starring magical ladies!

THE WITCHING LICENSE - A dying woman uses her last night on earth—and newfound magical powers—to right the most important wrongs in her life. (Has a later-in-life romance subplot.) http://books2read.com/WitchingLicense

THE CAPRAMANCER NEXT DOOR - A down-to-earth mage and her magical goats must protect their new (cute!) neighbor when he crosses an angry fairy. http://books2read.com/capra

LOVE POTION COMMOTION! - A potion-brewing witch and her talking French bulldogs try to improve her grand-niece's love life. (Adorable senior couple in this one.) http://books2read.com/frenchies1

I second the Maria Vale Legend of All Wolves series. I’ve read all but the latest and they are AMAZING! Really, the world building is top-notch IMHO with such well-drawn characters. I just love dropping into Vale’s world. Can’t wait to start the newest one. Also, check out The Last Werewolf by Glen Duncan— it might interest you. It’s the first in a trilogy and it is not romance, but there are romantic elements.

Thank you! I feel like I had a Maria Vale book as a freebie from a conference somewhere. I need to see if I can find it. :)

Succubus Blues by Richelle Mead. It's an older series and actually doesn't have much of the creatures you are talking about if I recall but it's along those lines. Paranormal, real world setting, Succubus falls for a human man that she can't touch without draining his life force. Oh the tension! Oh the yearning! I love love loved this series. <3

Thanks! I read the first one way back when but I think I got distracted and didn't move on with the series. Thanks for the reminder!

Dead Until Dark by Charlaine Harris, and her entire 13 book Sookie Stackhouse paranormal mystery romance series. Somehow both hilarious, bloodchilling, and sexy as all get-out.

Also I have to include this even though it’s about aliens rather than werewolves: Ice Planet Barbarians by Ruby Dixon. Earth ladies stranded on a freezing cold planet, with no one but huge, blue, hunky alien dudes to warm them…

Thanks, Melanie! The Charlaine Harris series is a great rec. I've read them, but it's one of my all time favorite vamp series. As for Ice Planet Barbarians, my podcast co-host Dawn is a huge fan of those! :)

Oh! My recommendation is KF Breene's Demigods of San Francisco series. It's got all of those things plus mythology which I thought was a really fun combo. It has one of my favorite sets of secondary characters that I've ever read and the MCs are great, too. The first book is Sin & Chocolate and it was actually one of the books in the BB22 swag bags so you might already have a copy!
